The camera hole is on the larger side by today’s standards and you might find it distracting in lighter scenes in videos. Stereo speakers are nice to have, and while the ones on the Poco X3 Pro are loud and good enough for sound effects in games, they won’t really let you get the best out of high-quality music. The POCO X3 Pro packs a 120Hz IPS LCD full HD panel, just like the regular POCO X3. It’s a pretty good panel, though obviously, it’s no AMOLED competitor. It gets the job done, looks good, and is fast and smooth. High refresh rate panels are getting cheaper, and they’re some of the best improvements to come to smartphones in recent years.

As for the design itself, you’ll find a polycarbonate back with a textured stripe running down the middle, and with the POCO logo situated within the texture. The textured section has a subtle gradient finish, and it has a glossy coating whereas the sides have a matte finish. The four camera modules and LED flash sit within the rear camera enclosure, and the circular housing along with the two-tone finish give the phone a bold look. The cell phone does not offer a removable battery, but the battery of the Poco X3 Pro can be quickly recharged. In the test, the battery indicator jumped from 4 to 60 percentage points within 30 minutes.

It does capture a lot of area and retains a decent amount of detail. The shots contain so much noise that it’s better to avoid using this camera at night. Pixel switching happens quite quickly on Twisted Nematic (TN) LCDs, which is why gaming monitors are built on this technology. On the other hand, IPS (In-Plane Switching) screens, like the one of the Poco X3 Pro, are the slowest when it comes to pixel response. You won’t face this issue on OLED panels because each pixel in this display type is self-illuminated. By eliminating the need for a backlight and liquid crystals, OLED screens can clock in pixel response a thousand times faster than IPS LCDs. Since this is a 4G LTE device, so unlike 5G devices, your battery life isn’t going to take a hit.
